Hieronymus Wierix (1553 - 1619)
One of three brothers, all engravers. Child prodigy. Master in Antwerp in 1572, where remained for the rest of his life. Killed a woman when drunk in 1578. Worked after many designers both for other publishers as well as publishing himself.
