Lambert Lombard (1505 - 1566)

Painter and antiquarian. Born and worked Liège; in Italy 1537-1538 with Cardinal Pole. Numerous pupils in his 'Academy', including Frans Floris and Willem Key. Brother-in-law of Suavius.
